The following is a summary of damage reported at Nissho Corporation in Japan as of 13:00 JST on Wednesday, March 23, 2011.

Status of Plant operation

  1. Tohoku Plant (Osaki-city, Miyagi)
    By recovering utilities Tohoku Plant has started a part of production from March 22 and the production schedule on March 23, 2011 is 80% compared with usual status and we will re-start a delivery. (Please note that there is a possibility to change the schedule due to the local situation.)
    In addition to the logistics circumstance, there is also delivery delay problem that un-reaching raw materials and sub materials. We try to solve the problem about sourcing materials.
  2. Iwaki Plant (Iwaki-city, Fukushima)
    Although we had closed Iwaki Plant for the employees' safety as first priority due to expansion of accident in the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant, we confirmed the safety in the plant area so that started production that is 80% compared with usual status.
    Delivery still has not been available. (We have investigated another logistic infrastructure.)
